The Ocean Decade Side event on “Technologies in Sustainable Ocean Observations – from Low Cost to New Technology development” will be held on 9th April 2024 from 12-2 pm CET at the World Trade Center, Room S9+S10 1st Floor, Edif. Este, Moll de Barcelona, s/n, 08039 Barcelona, Spain.

Exploring the complexities of ocean observation technologies, this event aims to address challenges while fostering innovation. It brings together stakeholders, scientists, the private sector, industries, and policymakers to discuss and elevate the discourse on advancing ocean observations.

Through presentations and panel discussions, the event will explore opportunities for cost-effective technologies and collaboration with the private sector, culminating in networking opportunities to facilitate cross-sectoral partnerships.
