Functional homogenisation support and tools for mature coastal observing platforms
M1-M36 (Lead: CNR; Partners: IEEE, AZTI, SOCIB, Hereon, CNRS, FMI, NIVA, SYKE, HCMR, FMI, IFREMER, IH)
The task will be developed in two steps integrating the contribution of the mature observing platforms (HF Radar, Glider, Ferrybox, Fixed Platform): first, the compilation and possible update of the existing Best Practices (from JERICO, JERICO-NEXT and other initiatives compiled in OBPS Repository); second, the implementation of functional homogenization tools that will support an interactive implementation and continuous review of procedures within the JERICO-RI, will be interfaced with the JERICO virtual access system (WP8-VA).
The actions will be performed within the following Steering Teams organized by platform (led by underlined partner): ST1 HF Radar (CNR, AZTI, SOCIB, Hereon), ST2; Glider (SOCIB, CNRS, FMI), ST3; Ferrybox (Hereon, NIVA, SYKE), ST4; Fixed Platform (HCMR, FMI, IFREMER, IH, CNR, AZTI).
Task 5.2: D5.2 Technical handbook published within the OBPS Repository of Best practices for implementing and operating mature platforms for coastal observatories.
Task 5.2: D5.5 Report on the functional homogenization tools that will support the implementation of best practices of mature platforms within the JERICO-RI .
